PBB-TE Intelligent Ethernet Gateway card

A complete linecard solution including:

• FPGA images
• High-level driver with API software
• Application software
• Management software

The solution was based on the following products:

•  TPX3100 20/40 Gbps PBB-TE Carrier Packet Engine
•  TPW192-S 10Gbps Ethernet over NG-SONET/SDH Packet Mapper

10Gbps Transparent Ethernet over SONET/SDH

An MSPP linecard solution including:

• FPGA images
• High-level driver with API software

The solution was based on the TPW192-S 10Gbps Ethernet over NG-SONET/SDH packet mapper including implementation of an extra virtual concatenation feature allowing a full 10Gbps Ethernet data stream to be transported over SONET/SDH (normally SONET/SDH supports a data rate just less than 10Gbps).

PDH Aggregation Gateway

An MSPP linecard solution including:

• FPGA images
• High-level driver with API software

The solution was based on the TPW48-P Ethernet over NG-PDH/SONET/SDH packet mapper, which allows both Ethernet over NG-PDH and NG-SONET/SDH to be aggregated in a single card. This allowed maximum re-use of existing infrastructure and equipment while offering new Carrier Ethernet services.

MicroMSPP solution

A complete pizzabox solution including:

• FPGA images
  • Application software
  • Management software
• High-level driver with API software

The solution was based on the following products:

•  TPX2000 6 Gbps Carrier Packet Engine
•  TPW48-S 2.5 Gbps Ethernet over NG-SONET/SDH Packet Mapper

This compact pizzabox solution allowed the customer to deploy an award winning solution leading the market and achieving significant early market share.
