The TPO-series of SOFTSILICON devices from TPACK includes 2.5 Gbps to 100 Gbps OTN Mappers and 40 Gbps ODU MUXes, and covers applications from Muxponders to large OTN Cross Connects. The TPO processors are designed to meet all your needs for building OTN networking equipment that eliminates the need for SONET/SDH as intermediate transport layer.

The TPO family consists of two types of products, OTN Muxponders/Add-Drop MUXes and ODU Multiplexers. 

OTN Muxponders/ADM's:

TPOC314 40 Gbps ODU MUX

The TPO family maps any client type and rate into right-sized ODU-containers by an adaptable ODU mechanism including mapping of Gigabit Ethernet into ODU0.

Furthermore, the TPO devices support ODU0, ODUflex, ODU1, ODU2, and ODU3 connectivity and protection switching through advanced built-in lower order ODU cross connects and generic Segmentation-And-Reassembly functions for interworking with Switch Fabrics.

The TPO processors support flexible mixing of TDM clients, such as STM-1/4/16 / OC-3/12/48 and packet clients, such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel.  

A built-in ODU ADM provides efficient means for performing the same type of Add-Drop and protection functionality on the ODU-level as you would normally find in a traditional SONET/SDH Add-Drop MUX at the Virtual Container (VCn)-level.
