High Level Driver with API Software
With each TPACK product, a driver software API is provided as an integral part of the product.
TPACK provides High-level driver API software together with all our products. The software is supplied in source code (e.g. C) and can be adapted to support customer specific requirements.
The driver API software can be compiled to run on any Operating System (such as Linux or VxWORKS).
The software includes the following functions:
- Basic acces to chip-level registers of our SOFTSILICON products
- Software assistance for key features. For example:
- NG-SONET/SDH LCAS hitless add/remove operations
- Hashing operations
- MAC Learning operations
Reference Systems and Solutions have implemented and tested High-level driver with API software on AMCC PowerPC 405 / 440 CPU-systems.
