TPW48-S Packet Mapper
The TPW48-S Packet Mapper is a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet-over-NG-SONET/SDH Mapper.
Key features are:
- 2.5 Gbps throughput
- OC-48/STM-16 Interface
- SPI-3 interface
- Full SONET/SDH Overhead processing
- Full support for GFP/VCAT/LCAS
- 64 Virtual Concatenation Groups
- 64 msec differential delay compensation
The TPW48-S is delivered as a complete binary image for direct download in Altera Stratix II FPGA and includes a high-level driver software with an API for easy integration with your application software.
As the SMARTPACK products are based on re-programmable FPGA technology TPACK can optionally modify our standard product to meet your specific needs for additional features.
