TPACK TPX3100: Combining PBT, T-MPLS and VPLS

Visit TPACK at LR Ethernet Expo 2007, stand 216, from the 15th to the 17th of October at the Hilton New York and find out more about TPACK's TPX3100 combined PBT, T-MPLS and VPLS solution.

TPACK cordially invites you to visit our stand (#216) at Lightreading Ethernet Expo from the 15th to the 17th of October at the Hilton New York.

TPACK can now provide a solution that combines PBT/PBB-TE, T-MPLS and VPLS/PWE3 in a single device including hardware-based OAM and advanced traffic management.

The TPX3100 Carrier Packet Engine provides all of these features simultaneously in an FPGA-based solution, which can be re-programmed to accommodate changes in standards. The processing architecture of the TPX3100 also ensures deterministic performance independent of the number of simultaneous packet processing operations.

For more info on the TPX3100, see: TPACK TPX3100.

TPACK also recently announced a new product, the TPWX3192 Carrier Packet Mapper Engine, that combines the feature sets of the TPX3100 and the TPW192-S 10 Gbps NG-SONET/SDH Packet Mapper to provide a cost, space and power optimized MSPP solution. Based on new Stratix III Altera FPGA devices, the TPWX3192 provides 50% power reduction compared to a solution based on a combination of a TPX3100 and TPW192-S devices.

The TPWX3192 can also be used to support Packet Optical platforms as well as provide a migration platform from SONET/SDH to packet optical and fully packet based networks.

For more info on the TPWX3192, see: TPACK TPWX3192.
