TPACK's CTO, Lars Pedersen and Nick Cadwgan, PLM Director, Gridpoint Systems will speak at the webinar "Understanding the Role of Connection-Oriented Ethernet in Packet-Optical Transport" from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.
The webinar will bring attendees up to speed on connection-oriented Ethernet (COE) technologies that include PBB-TE (IEEE), T-MPLS (ITU-T), and MPLS-TP (IETF and ITU-T joint development). We will cover standards progress, test/trial activity, and real-world COE deployment in carrier networks. Among other things, we will consider distinctions emerging in the use of COE depending on the application for the technology – specifically, when and where COE makes sense for Ethernet services and Ethernet transport.
