TPACK solutions are often based on new standards and technologies (e.g. VPLS, PBB-TE, T-MPLS etc.). It is therefore important that TPACK is actively involved in standardisation. The following is a list of current TPACK affiliations.

Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)

Responsible for defining and certifying Carrier Ethernet Services, the MEF has been instrumental in establishing the widespread success of Ethernet as a credible carrier technology.

TPACK has been an active member almost from the beginning and conitnues to actively support MEF recommendations, certification activities and take part in MEF meetings.

TPACK employees are actively involved in proposing, editing and chairing MEF activities.

International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T)

TPACK is following closely both discussions and developments of new standards such as Transport MPLS (T-MPLS) and Ethernet OAM.

TPACK already supports several ITU-T standards, in particular in relation to Ethernet over NG-SONET/SDH, Ethernet over NG-PDH.

Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE)

TPACK is actively participating in IEEE meetings in relation to standardisation of Carrier Ethernet, including Ethernet OAM and Provider Backbone Bridge - Traffic Engineered (PBB-TE).

TPACK already supports several IEEE recommendations and TPACK employees are active in editing IEEE contributions.
